The 4th International Conference on Advanced Science and Engineering has been launched which is conducted by the University of Zakho in collaboration with Duhok Polytechnic University and Northern Technical University. Several researchers and academics from 14 countries participated in the conference.

Noteworthy, the 1st day of the conference was held in the presence of the president of the University of Zakho, academic staff in addition to presidents of various universities, and prominent figures.

The conference began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, synchronizing with the raising of the Iraqi and Kurdish anthems. This was followed by speeches initiated by the President of the University of Zakho in which he stressed the need for scientific cooperation between institutions. Moreover, he stated that the University of Zakho strives for openness and cooperation with various scientific and academic institutions to build its scientific edifice. He also pointed out the importance of applying research for the sake of community service, achieving development, and these researches should not remain confined to volumes and books.

After that, the conference sessions started in their allocated morning and evening periods. It is worth mentioning that Duhok Polytechnic University will host the second and final day of the conference.
